Welcome to Life Coaching for a change, the blog for my main website Visionary Life Coaching.com! My name is Susan Shapiro. I am a long-time associate of Laurence Boldt, bestselling author of Zen and the art of Making a Living, How to Find the Work You Love, and the Tao of Abundance and have worked on his various books, workshops, and other projects for many years. I began pursuing my passion for career coaching as well as group coaching back in the 1980s. Over the last twenty plus years I have been a student of meditation, personal growth, and holistic healing. My journey includes attending the University of California at Santa Cruz, Coach University, and receiving in-depth empowerment training from Laurence Boldt. From these efforts I developed my life coaching practice which is dedicated to assisting individuals first and foremost in living passionately from purpose and expressing their talents in meaningful ways that serve others. While on the path of living authentically from purpose our life coaching work addresses how to create life balance, abundance on all levels, and in gaining self-mastery.

In addition to life coaching tools, I offer career coaching utilizing the Career Empowerment Process developed by Laurence Boldt, a step-by-step process for living authentically from your best self, and one I have worked with for over two decades in assisting individuals in discovering a purpose-filled, creative life’s work and launching it into a viable career.
